When Christopher and I first met TJ and Jennifer on Zoom, we could tell right away that they were super kind and genuine. We seriously had a blast getting to meet these two for their garden engagement session in Raleigh, NC. Not to mention, I absolutely adored Jennifer’s pink smocked dress! How perfect for the warm summer months!

HOW THEY MET

TJ and Jennifer first met in 2017 when TJ moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for his first job after graduating college. At that time, Jennifer was a student at a small university in Pittsburgh. Even though they were both in transitional stages of life, they very quickly figured out that they needed to stay connected with each other.

THE PROPOSAL

When they got engaged, it was a very private and intimate moment. TJ caught Jennifer completely off guard one day after work by setting up rose petals, candles, and champagne for Jennifer. It was super special because this was the first apartment that they shared! After the proposal, they celebrated with a fancy dinner in downtown Pittsburgh and spent the night in a nice hotel together.

These two will be getting married at The Oaks at Salem in Apex, North Carolina during the spring of 2022. I know it’s going to be gorgeous and such a sweet celebration of the love these two share!
