Want to know the perfect recipe for engagement photos in downtown Raleigh? All you need is a cute couple, a well-mannered fur baby, and a husband-wife wedding photography team who knows how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera! If you have those things, you will be good to go! All that to say that Christopher and I had the best time meeting Jennifer and Andrew at their engagement session last week!
These two met while playing ultimate frisbee in Dallas, Texas. They planned a day trip for their 8th anniversary to Stone Mountain State Park. Andrew proposed to Jennifer while they were taking pictures with their adorable pup, Bella. After their hike, they drove to a nearby vineyard and celebrated the occasion with some wine! They kept the news to themselves until the next day when they had returned to Raleigh. I love that they took some time to soak it in for themselves!
We enjoyed exploring downtown Raleigh and the WRAL Azalea Gardens with these two, however some of our favorite photos of the day featured their dog, Bella. She was seriously so well-behaved and easy to photograph! We started off the engagement session at the NC State Capital and wandered around downtown Raleigh until we ended up by Marbles Children’s Museum where the colorful murals are! It was such a fun day!
