It just so happened that Daniel and Chandler’s UNC-Chapel Hill engagement session fell on the hottest day of the year! However, that didn’t stop us from getting some beautiful images that represent this season of their life! We chose to do engagement pictures here, because this where their love story began! They met freshman year at UNC.
This is also where Daniel proposed! They were sitting on the Davie Poplar bench and Daniel just kept rambling on about something. Chandler kept seeing a boot step forward through the bushes near us and I was confused why someone was so close to us and hiding in a bush. Then when Daniel and Chandler stood up, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. For some reason, all she could say was “right now?” Then she finally got a “yes” out then realized that boot belonged to Daniel’s friend that was trying to take photos of the engagement!
It was so much fun to re-visit some of their favorite spots on campus!
