Fall is a magical time of year, especially in Raleigh, North Carolina. The vibrant shades of yellow and orange make for the perfect backdrop for an engagement session. Fortunately, that’s exactly what we got for Becky and Jarett’s engagement photos at Harris Lake. They planned their session during peak fall foliage season, and the results were breathtaking.
The day was filled with blue skies and sunshine, casting a warm glow on the already stunning scenery. Becky and Jarett’s majestic golden retriever was also included, adding a touch of playfulness and love to the images. As they all strolled through the park, they were surrounded by the beauty of nature. Their love for each other shone through in every photograph.

How did you two meet?
We met on an app and had our first date in downtown Raleigh, NC.
What Made You Two Connect So Well in the Beginning?
Our connection felt effortless. Conversations were easy, we were always on the same page and enjoyed every minute together.
How Did You Two Get Engaged?
This past summer we were fortunate enough to go on a twenty-five day road trip. We started in Holly Springs, NC, and made our way across the country to Sedona, AZ. From there we drove north and visited several national parks throughout Arizona, Utah, and Colorado, one of which was Bryce Canyon National Park. We were just starting the Queens Garden hike when Jarett decided that we should take a picture in front of the hoodoos. I should have known something was up when HE started setting up his camera and suggested that I should remove my backpack. Little did I know, Jarett started recording a video to capture him getting on one knee and popping the big question!
