Matthew and Haley celebrated their nuptials with an elaborate spring wedding at the McAlister-Leftwich in Greensboro, NC. The entire fete had a classic garden vibe complete with peonies, roses, and hasta greens from Haley’s grandfather’s garden! Isn’t that such a sweet touch?
Even though Matthew and Haley had to utilize their rain plan, the ceremony was still gorgeous. Strung fairy lights and candles brought some romantic ambiance into their ceremony and they complemented their springtime blooms beautifully.
The morning leading up to the wedding was filled with lovely moments! Some of my favorites being when Haley’s mom helped her into her dress. It was neat to see Haley’s mom react to her being a bride. They were both so joyful that they burst into giddy laughter.
I also loved seeing Haley’s dad’s reaction too. He was so overcome with emotion during their father/daughter first look. Now that I am a parent, I appreciate these moments on the wedding day so much more!
When it comes to a McAlister-Leftwich wedding in Greensboro, NC utilizing the hallway with the checkerboard style floor is a must! I loved using it as a backdrop for Haley’s bridal details, and for some solo bridal portraits of Haley!
