Dylan and Jessica are just the cutest couple! They complement each other so well, and I had a blast taking their spring engagement photos at The Sutherland last week! The weater was gorgeous, their outfits were on point, and overall it was just everything a photographer could want in a shoot!
Jessica and Dylan happened to meet during the coronavirus lockdown. They didn’t realize it at the time, but they were neighbors living just a few townhouses away from each other! Some of their friends were outside for a socially distanced happy hour. They met during that and have been inseperable ever since! They connected so well because they both had a very similar sense of humor.
As time went on, they dated quite a bit at Scratch Kitchen and Taproom in Apex (which if you haven’t been before, run, don’t walk! You can thank me later!) They love to grab dinner there, and go to nearby wine bar after. They were walking to the wine bar one evening during December. The town of Apex had a 50 ft Christmas tree displayed. When they got in front of that tree, Dylan got down on one knee and proposed.
They will be getting at the Sutherland later this year in the fall, and I know it’s just going to be a gorgeous day! Enjoy some fav spring engagement photos at The Sutherland!
