When Christopher and I initially met with Matt and Jordan to discuss photography for their South Carolina wedding, we knew instantly we would click! From shooting Matt and Jordan’s engagement photos, to Jordan’s bridal portrait session, and of course now their wedding, it has been a delight getting to know these two! We’re SO thankful we could be a part of this sweet season in their lives.
Jordan and her bridesmaids got ready at a private VRBO about 20 minutes from her venue, and the light in there was insanely gorgeous! It made shooting details and getting ready photos so easy for me! However, when we got to the venue I didn’t have any window light available when Jordan was getting into her dress, so I had to put my off-camera flash skills to the test, and I am thrilled with how the images turned out! Ya’ll, having a photographer who is knowledgeable in ALL kinds of light is SO important, but I digress!
Matt and Jordan opted for a first look, and it was adorable! By the end of it, they were both tearful and laughing all at the same time. They were just so overcome with joy that their wedding day was here! Jordan also had a first look with her dad and brother, and their reactions were equally as adorable! You can tell from the photos that they’re a close-knit group!
Even though Matt and Jordans saw each other prior to the ceremony, their “coming down the aisle” moment was still beautiful. Matt once again got teary-eyed and Jordan was grinning from ear to ear. It was the sweetest! The serene backdrop of water at Catawba Falls Event Center was perfect for their ceremony! They concluded their ceremony with a rose petal toss as they walked back down the aisle.
Ya’ll, I SO loved being apart of this special day! Enjoy the photos!

Doesn’t Jordan look gorgeous? Those blue eyes though!
I had the best time shooting Jordan’s bridal details! The light at their VRBO was perfection!
We were actually prepared for a rainy wedding day, and although the morning started off that way the weather cleared beautifully by noon!
Shameless plug- hire a photographer who can shoot in ALL light! There was no natural light available to me in this bridal suite. I had to essentially bring my own window light with me by using off-camera flash. I’m so happy with how these turned out!
That look of anticipation <3
Jordan’s dad and brother both look stunned! So sweet!
That view is AH-MAZING!
