Last summer, we hopped on a Zoom call and talked with Chris and Simone about photographing their Merrimon-Wynne House wedding. From that first call, I knew we would get along great! They live in Nashville, but were planning a Merrimon-Wynne House wedding here in Raleigh for July 4th of this year! We knew that would be such a fun way to spend the 4th, and we were right!
We were blessed with great, somewhat mild weather for NC in July! It was a beautiful day! I had the best time hanging out with Simone and her bridesmaids as they were getting ready. These girls were the sweetest, and so excited for their sister and friend! My favorite moments of the day were definitely Chris and Simone’s first look as well as the father-daughter first look that Simone shared with her dad! It was so sweet to see his reaction to his daughter becoming a bride!
Simone and Chris met while they were both living in Washington DC. They actually happened to be neighbors, and they started spending a lot of time together! They got engaged while driving down the coast of California! I know that was such a beautiful moment! Enjoy some of my favorites from this sentimental wedding day!

You will never regret having a monogrammed Mrs. Box in your wedding color! Plus it’s a great way to store your ring after the wedding!
