I am SO glad I was finally able to meet Haley and Matthew for their summer engagement session in Raleigh! We were supposed to do this session a little earlier in the year, however due to a family situation Haley had to reschedule. But man, I say it was worth the wait because these two are adorable!
It was a bit muggy and humid on this June day, but these two did not mind at all! They were both so sweet and in love with each other. These two have been together since 2014! Haley was staying with her grandparents for the weekend. While she was there, her dad called her and asked her if she wanted to go to prom with a guy who needed a date. Apparently, they had a blast because they have been together ever since!
They took a trip to Tokyo, Japan in 2019. They were having a quiet night in at their rental watching TV and eating rice balls when Matthew popped the question. It was a sweet and intimate moment for the just the two of them! I can’t imagine how exciting it was to be able to share that moment in another country!
I truly am so excited for their spring wedding at the McAlister-Leftwich House in Greensboro, NC next year. From talking with Haley, it sounds like it’s going to be a fabulous day! Enjoy some of my favorites from their summer engagement session in Raleigh!
