One thing that I love about Charleston wedding photography is the beautiful backdrops that the lowcountry has to offer. There are very few sights as pretty to me as seeing hundred year old oak trees draped in low-hanging Spanish moss that almost seems to dance as the wind blows. When you add a stunning bride such as Catherine to that equation, the result is magical.
Being able to take these gorgeous bridal portraits at the Caledonia Golf and Fish Club was such a delight. The gardens there are stunning, not to mention the backdrop of water and Spanish moss.
There just so happened to be a group of wedding singers getting their photos made at the same time we were doing Catherine’s session. They stopped to serenade Catherine with their rendition of “I’m Going to the Chapel.” It was a super cute moment! Enjoy some of my personal favorites from this radiant bridal portrait session that showcases some Charleston wedding photography!
I just cannot get over that gorgeous Spanish moss! So ethereal!
The azalea bushes all happened to be in full bloom which was such a delightful treat!
The venue happened to be on a marsh which was gorgeous!
