When Chelsea and David approached me about photographing their summer wedding at The Sutherland Estate and Gardens I was so excited! These two have such joyful personalities that truly emulate the TR Couple. They also have such a fascinating love story!
David and Chelsea met in Raleigh when Chelsea hired David. A few months down the road, Chelsea had a bouquet of flowers waiting for her on her car after work. She wasn’t sure who they were from at first. Once she found out they were from David, they were inseperable!
When they got engaged, David had planned a dinner with friends when Chelsea was in town for spring break. Before dinner, they decided to walk around NC State’s Campus in Raleigh. This was something they loved to do together. They decided to stop and get ice cream at the Howling Cow. On their way to the ice cream shop, they were walking in a grassy area when David stopped to read Chelsea and letter and got down on one knee. They spent the rest of the evening celebrating with family and friends.
If there was one word to sum up David and Chelsea’s wedding day at the Sutherland Estate and Gardens it would be “moments”. The day was filled to the brim with tender moments. From the daddy/daughter first look to David and Chelsea’s reactions as Chelsea walked down the aisle. It was an incredibly sweet day!
