The Sutherland Wake Forest Wedding| Kevin and Kylie

Kevin and Kylie celebrated their The Sutherland Wake Forest wedding and it was STUNNING! From the florals to the mild spring weather to the sage green color palate everything was perfect for their celebration! Some of my favorite moments of the day took place during the getting ready portion of the day. I loved when Kylie’s mom gifted Kylie with “Something Old and Borrowed” she was gifted two stunning pieces of heirloom jewelry for the day, and it was so sweet to witness Kylie’s mom seeing her as a bride! Another favorite of the day was Kevin and his mom exchanging gifts as well. It was an incredibly raw and emotional moment. I truly count it a privilege that I get to witness those moments on the wedding day. That’s something I’ll never take lately- especially now that I am a momma.

I also loved the feeling of unity as Kevin and Kylie’s friends and family gathered to celebrate their marriage. Both of their families live far away, and they haven’t been able to see much of each other during the coronavirus pandemic, so the time spent together was very much cherished time!

So many vendors worked together to make the day fabulous for Kevin and Kylie. Of course, they had a beautiful backdrop for the festivities at The Sutherland. The English Garden provided fresh and elegant florals for the occasion. Rev. Kayelilly Middleton officiated the ceremony and was simply brilliant. She has a gift of storytelling that had all of Kevin and Kylie’s guests in laughter. Joe Bunn Dj Company kept the party going as Kylie and Kevin danced the night away in their attire from the Coastal Knot and the Black Tux. The bridesmaids looked amazing in their dresses from Birdie Gray, and their makeup done by Loren Goldman looked flawless all day! The cake from Once in a Blue Moon Cafe was simply beautiful!
