Because Matt and Caitlin wanted a classy but casual vibe for their engagement photos, we thought that downtown Raleigh would be the perfect spot for their engagement photos! Originally we hoped to get started at the Capitol building, however it was barricaded so we decided to hit up the surrounding areas and we weren’t at all disappointed! Between the Parisian inspired lampposts, brick architecture, and gorgeous city scapes we were able to find plenty of locations to work with for their engagement pictures!
We also went to the Dillon in downtown Raleigh and found the coolest neon sign that you can see below! It was such a fun shoot!
These two met online, and later got engaged at the beach. They were already having photos made while they were, so Matt seized the opportunity and popped the question during the photo session. He proposed with his late mother’s beautiful three stone ring. It sounds like it was such a beautiful moment!
They are going to be getting married at the Highgrove Estate just outside of Raleigh, NC later this year in December, and we are so excited for them! After being able to meet them in person, we know these to will be a lot of fun. They both have such a fun sense of humor and a playfulness about them that is so much fun to capture on camera!
