Today is Jackson & Macie’s dating anniversary, so to celebrate I thought it would be fun to share their Winston-Salem, NC engagement photos with you all! If their wedding day is half as fun as their engagement session was then we will seriously be in for a treat! We love when couples want to have some fun during their shoots, so popping a bottle of champagne and sipping on coffee seemed like a fabulous plan!
These two met on Hinge. Initially when Jackson asked Macie on a date, she said no, but eventually she came around! Their first date was at Camino’s Bakery in Winston-Salem, NC so we had to include that part of their story in their engagement session! During the date, Macie thought Jackson was such an incredible listener, but as it had turned out Jackson had accidentally take Benadryl prior to the date…oops! However, that worked in Jackson’s favor! They went out on another date a couple of days later and have been inseparable ever since!
These two got engaged at the same place where they’ll be having their wedding- Childress Vineyards! Jackson’s sister had invited Macie out for a girl’s night so she was all dolled up! When Jackson’s sister and Macie arrived at the vineyard, Jackson had huge marquee letters all lined up that said, “Marry me?” He had even arranged both of their parents who lived out of town to be there to witness the whole thing! It was so sweet, and so well planned!
I had so much fun wandering around Winston-Salem, NC with these two, and I cannot wait for their wedding next summer!
