I am SO glad that David and Chelsea chose to have their engagement photos made in Southport, NC. It’s truly the epitome of the coastal charm that North Carolina has to offer. I can totally see why Nicholas Sparks wrote an entire novel based off of it <3
These two met through work, and got engaged this past spring. Chelsea was up visiting from Florida for her birthday. They had planned a “dinner with friends”. Before dinner, they went and walked around NC State’s Campus. During their walk David suggested they get ice cream at one of their favorite spots on campus which happened to be near a meadow of green grass. When they got to that meadow, he pulled out a letter to read and popped the question. He even had let some of Chelsea’s friends in on the surprise so they got to watch from afar. They also got to celebrate with family and more friends, and ended the night at the Raleigh Times! What a fun night!
For their engagement session, Chelsea showed up looking like a replica of the red dress girl emoji 💃 and her and David looked so very in love! From the twisting tree branches that are who knows how told to the lovely rose garden we stumbled across, this session was SO much fun! If these two look this stunning in their Southport, NC engagement photos I can not wait to see them at their wedding at the Sutherland late next spring!
