I had so much fun shooting Ashton and Mallory’s Downtown Raleigh engagement session at the NC State Capitol Building. They seriously looked fabulous in their evening wear! These two high school sweethearts are from Asheboro, but were looking for a Raleigh Wedding Photographer for their Highgrove Estate Wedding coming up later this year! These two are sooo sweet, and I am so happy to be working with them!
They have such a cute engagement story! Right now, they’re in a little bit of a long distance relationship as Ashton works and lives in Charlotte while Mallory is here in Raleigh. Mallory went to visit Ashton one weekend in Charlotte. They were walking around Uptown when Ashton stopped in front of a nail salon and told her they were going to get their nails done. This definitely made Mallory suspicious about what could be to come. After the manicure, they went and got lunch together, and it started snowing! Which as you may know, is kinda rare for North Carolina! They were walking around a local park when Ashton popped the question in the snow <3 How romantic!
