Kyle and Courtney met while they were in high school during her freshman year and his junior year. One day, her car wouldn’t start, so a friend ran into class to grab someone with jumper cables—that was Kyle. As it turned out, he ended up jumping her car off a lot (oh, to be sixteen and to have a crappy car again).
They didn’t really connect in high school, but they both went to college in Charleston. Kyle attends the Citadel and Courtney attends the College of Charleston. During Courtney’s second semester of college, they really started to connect. After a year of dating, Kyle proposed on a hiking trip at Crowder’s Mountain. He proposed at the summit of the mountain. I had a blast taking their pictures at the Citadel and all over Charleston!
