As many of you know, Christopher and I closed on our home in Fuquay-Varina, NC back in the middle of June. Since then, we have been working endlessly around the clock trying to make it our own! Ever since we started talking about moving out of Raleigh, NC apartment and moving into our first home all I could think about was how I would decorate it! I love decorating–it’s a wonderful creative outlet for me!
I’ve had so many people ask me to see pictures of our new home so I thought this would be the perfect way to share! Although this is a business blog, I love sharing tidbits of our lives with ya’ll! Plus, I know how much inspiration I can glean from looking at other people’s blogs. I love looking at color palettes and ways to mix different patterns and textures.
Today, I’m going to share our living room decor with ya’ll! This is my favorite room in our house. I love how calming and cool the grays are, but we added lots of texture to bring a sense of coziness to the room too! I love Southern, farmhouse decor and fun patterns!
I’ll also be sharing the outside of the house too! We still have a lot of work to do as far a curb appeal goes. This fall we plan to sow more grass seed so the lawn is fuller. We also plan to dig up the area around the shrubs out front and make a flower bed. I love peonies and tulips and want to plant those this fall so we can enjoy the beautiful colors in the springtime!
